Peavey elevators collection, 1901-1957.

The collection consists of 5 sheets of original drawings of electrical details for the Crescent Elevator, a late 19th century wood crib structure which was demolished about 1977. The drawings date from 1957, but provide some information about the structure itself. There are also 13 sheets of original ink-on-linen drawings for a 1,000 bushel Randolph grain drier installed in Van Dusen & Harrington's Star Elevator, as well as 5 sheets of original drawings for alterations to the structure. The Star Elevator also dated from the late 19th century and has been demolished.
